Who chooses the wineries and who makes the reservations?

I can make great recommendations for wineries. We can also go with your itinerary. I typically help with the itinerary before the tour and make reservations at Brys Estate Winery.

What is your cancellation policy?

Money refunded, except a processing fee of $25.

How much do drivers typically get tipped?

Gratuity is typically 20 to 25% of the cost paid for the day.

When do wineries close?

Winery hours vary. They typically close at 6 or 7pm.

Where do we get picked up?

You will be picked up in the downtown area, or various Tom’s Food Market locations. Anything further, there will be a surcharge.

When does our tour time start and stop?

Tours typically start at 11:30am/ Noon or 1pm and go for 4 to 5 hours. We can work together on an itinerary for the day. Typically 45 minutes to an hour at each winery. 

Are we able to add more time while we’re on our tour?

You can add more time, and there is an additional charge for adding additional time on the tour.

What is the dress code at the wineries?

Dress code is casual. I highly suggest dressing for the weather and always bring a jacket or sweater. Some people like to dress up for the day, too!

Will we be able to eat while on the tour?

You can bring snacks the day of the tour. Some wineries have food/charcuterie offerings as well.

Can we drink in the vehicle?

No, drinking is not allowed in my van. I do not have a license for that. There is plenty of wine to enjoy at the beautiful wineries throughout the day. 

Can we bring pets or children?

Children can come along for the day. Make sure to bring them things to do: toys, books, and some snacks. If you want to bring your small dog along, we’d have to talk about it first. 

Do you offer public join-in tours?

I do offer public join in and rideshare tours! They are super fun!

Can we play our own music in the vehicle?

Yes, you can play music in my van. I have Sirius radio, and there are lots of stations to choose from. You can play your own music as well.

How early should we book our tour?

You should book your tour as soon as you and your party have a date in mind. May to November is very busy and I get booked quickly!

Will we receive our tour itinerary prior to the tour?

Yes, I typically help with the itinerary before the tour and make reservations at Brys Estate Winery. I can make great recommendations for wineries, and can also go with your itinerary. I also offer driving my Wine Tour guests to a restaurant for dinner and picking them up after if I’m available so there’s no driving. Safety is how I roll. Gratuity is appreciated for this extra service that I offer. I not only offer wine, breweries, and distilleries tours, but I also offer sightseeing day trips, as well as driving to restaurants, wine, and food festivals.
